Mini Milano Furniture Fair

Til Mini Milano Furniture Fair skulle elever fra Møbel, Rum & Produktdesign designe møbler med et socialt aspekt.

Tidligere elev og nuværende elev på VIA, Mette Caspersen, var gæsteunderviser i denne uge på Møbel, Rum & Produktdesign. Hun havde en spændende og udfordrende opgave til eleverne, som tog udgangspunkt i den anerkendte møbelmesse, Salone del Mobile, som finder sted hvert år i Milano.

Eleverne valgte i fællesskab emnet overforbrug, som har en social effekt på mennekser, og på hvordan vi lever i hverdagen. Nogle valgte at lave et møbel, som en kommentar til overforbrug, og andre designede et møbel, som kunne imødekomme problemet med overforbrug.

Elevernes møbler skulle sammen udstilles til Mini Milano Furniture Fair, en messestand som fandt sted til vores Fredagsudstilling i Laden. Møblerne skulle altså opsættes som en helhed, præcis som man ville gøre på en messestand.

Brainstorm på holdet hvor de sammen valgte overforbrug som overemne.
På projektet var der mulighed for at arbejde alene eller i grupper.
Toiletpapirsrullen var lavet som en kommentar til overforbrug.
Mette Caspersen (tv.) er selv tidligere elev på Den Skandinaviske Designhøjskole og var nu tilbage som gæsteunderviser.
