I dette projekt skulle elever modellere og arbejde med håndværket gibsstøbning.

Gibsstøbning er en gammel tradition i Danmark, og noget man har gjort blandt andet på Den Kongelige Porcelænsfabrik. Forløbet sættes i gang ved at udforme 3D skitser i ler på en intuitiv måde. Bagefter støber man gips over leret. Gennem flere processer har man til sidst en gipsmodel og en støbeform, der kan bruges igen og igen til industriel fremstilling af keramik. Det kan virke ret simpelt, men det er et håndværk, der er teknisk svært for at få flotte resultater.

Lige inden modellen bliver dækket af gips

På fredagsudstillingen blev støbeformer og keramik fremvist
